Definition

A connected space XX is mm-finite for mm \in \mathbb{N} if

  • XX is m-truncated, and

  • π k(X)\pi_k(X) is finite, and for all kk.

A space is mm-finite if it’s a finite disjoint union of mm-finite connected spaces; a space is π\pi-finite if it’s mm-finite for some mm \in \mathbb{N}.
