Alternatives to blog and/or pdf might be Prezi. It would allow a big map and zoom-in at various places. Probably one would need several maps, showing things like base schemes/coeffs, as well as one like in the Oslo talk, and also maybe one like the original atlas, showing geometric categories and functors like the nerve functor.
